Meet Our Team

Ian Taylor
I am Ian Taylor and with my wife Laura are the owners of Ian Taylor Trekking. I am from Leixlip, Ireland, but have made Colorado my home for the past 10 years. In 2008, I became the youngest Irishman to climb Mount Everest. My climbing partner and I set out to climb 4 mountains on 4 continents, culminating with Everest, in order to raise the funds to build a school in Uganda. Since then, I have been lucky enough to climb around the world and lead others to reach their own summits.
Laura Gravino
My name is Laura Gravino and myself and my husband, Ian Taylor run Ian Taylor Trekking. I was born in Lawrence, Kansas and was an athlete for most of my life. I played Division 1 athletics before moving to Ireland in 2004. Ian and I met in Dublin in 2007 while I was doing my Masters at University College Dublin. We started Ian Taylor Trekking together. We now live in Colorado since 2013 and have made Eagle-Vail our home where we are able to enjoy hiking, biking and skiing in our beautiful mountains. I have been lucky enough to travel many of the wonderful places on this earth and happy to get the chance to assist you in reaching your goals in the mountains!

Erin Nutini
My name is Erin Nutini from Kentucky but have lived in Colorado for 13 years now making the Rockies my outdoor playground. I am a nature lover and adventurer loving; hiking, backpacking, snowboarding, skiing and surfing. My passion for nature is distinct in my photography. I am also a fine art photographer, traveling the globe, capturing unforgettable landscapes and moments in time. “I am excited for this new adventure with Ian Taylor Trekking! Setting people up for success so they get to experience these epic trips of a lifetime would be a joy for me to be a part of.”
Who we support
We believe in supporting our staff and the communities we work in. After climbing Everest in 2008 we raised $100,000 to build the Mount Everest school in Uganda. As of 2024 we have over 500 students attending the school.
Ian Taylor Trekking have gone on to build four schools in Nepal. We support a local orphanage in Arusha, community projects in Peru are working on building a medical facility in Nepal right now alongside helping support the remote village of Goli. Our treks also support an orphanage in Arusha and sponsor children at the Mount Everest school. We help our staffs families and investing in environmental projects around the world.
